Accelerated Technology's Nucleus RTOS and code|lab Developer Suite will Ship in New Intel IQ80315 Evaluation Kit
SAN FRANCISCO—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Feb. 18, 2004—
Accelerated Technology(R), the Embedded Systems Division
of Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq:MENT), today announced that a
version of the Nucleus(R) Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) and the
code|lab(R) Embedded Developer Suite will begin shipping with the
Intel(a) IQ80315 Evaluation Kit for the Intel(a) IOP315 I/O processor
based on Intel(a) XScale(a) technology in Q4 2003.
Developers building storage applications such as RAID solutions,
network attached storage (NAS), storage area networks (SAN), and other
storage-related applications will benefit directly from this
all-inclusive kit by being able to quick-start their embedded
application. Accelerated Technology provides a robust RTOS and debug
environment that takes advantage of the integrated processing and
storage functions of the Intel IQ80315 development platform.
The Intel IQ80315 Evaluation Kit consists of the newly announced
32-bit high performance Intel IOP315 I/O processor chipset which is
based on Intel XScale technology. The kit includes support from the
code|lab embedded development environment and multitasking debugger
with an option to upgrade to the XRAY(R) Debugger for multi-core
support. The evaluation kit supports the RedHat GNUPro compiler and
Macraigor mpDemon connection device, both of which are included. The
Intel IQ80315 Evaluation Kit also provides a limited version of the
robust Nucleus PLUS real-time kernel. In addition, developers will
receive 90 days of technical support from Accelerated Technology's
leading technical support team.
